Is there a way to cause a miscarriage at 20 weeks pregnant?

If anyone is going to sit there and say that abortion is ok...because of all the unwanted children in the world Blah, Blah, Blah...then how about this...KEEP YOUR PANTS ON!!! Maybe if more people would do this there wouldn't be unwanted children in the world. Murder is murder anyone you look at it...you wouldn't kill you mother, but you'd kill a baby...that's sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While I am completely against abortion at any time, I can also say that I work with a NICU where I frequently watch babies born at 20 weeks and go on to live just fine. Whether you see this as passing judgement, or you agree with me, these are the facts. It would not be by any means acceptable to end a life of a 1 yr old, 10 yr old, or full grown adult....such things are usually greeted with horror that it was done. What makes this any different? Plus, I also work with people who suffer from infertility and would give anything to have a child, and are often told they have no hope to have one of their own. Adoption is often the only way to help these people, so I dont' want to hear anything about overpopulation.

I think you are completely a horrible person. You are twenty weeks pregnant just as far along as myself and you are considering an abortion? or hoping for a miscarriage? I find out in 17 days and counting down if im having a little prince or princess.. and i have heard my babys heartbeat and teared up every time. Patiently waiting to feel my babys first kick and looking forward to being this childs mother. you on the other hand are trying to get rid of this child? This child would DEFINITELY be better off WITHOUT you.. so maybe you SHOULD give it up for an adoption. But how can you wake up tomorrow knowing that you took a small childs heartbeat out of this world? Did you know that your child can smile at this point?

Birth Control and PROTECTED sex should have been your answer to NOT having a child. but instead worthless pieces of shit like you are going to go and have a ABORTION? Hope you can live with your DIRTY decision.

first of all= what the hell is worng with you- your half way through your pregnancy- and yes, some states do allow abortions up to 26 weeks but did you also know that babys can be born at only 18 weeks and survive!! you have a precious life inside of you- who cares if you want a baby or not-stop being selfish! it isnt about you anymore- adoption is the only answer if you cant handle it yourself there are thousands of women who would die to be in your place and be able to concieve- so if you dont want the miracle inside of you- give it to someone who has a heart<3

i really dont understand, if you knew you didnt want a child why are you waiting til 20 weeks to ask for advice on a safe miscarriage? i dont care what anyone says, it is murder, you are taking a life. and this far along its really inhumane.

you should not have waited until you are 20 weeks. I am very pro choice but seriously you should not be having an abortion at 20 weeks, the baby is a true live person at that point. You are old enough to know that if you dont want to get pregnant you need to get your tubes tied or take birth control and condoms. It would be one thing if you werent far along but you have had way to much time to do something.
If you dont want to be in this situation again make smarter decisions and protect yourself from getting pregnant please.

There have been no babies born at 18 or 20 weeks that have survived. The person claiming to have worked in an NICU isn't telling you the truth. There was a miracle baby that was born at almost 22 weeks and lived, but that is very, very unusual.

I agree. There is a video on YouTube called the silet screem. You can see the reaction of the baby during an aportion as it is painful and you are taking its life. The video is form a medical point of view and gives the facts.

I myself did not want another baby because of some personal issues in my current relationship and $$$. I could never go thru with an abortion, but everyone has to make up there own mind on that. At 4 weeks I was depressed too, but now at 20 weeks, I'm getting use to the idea. I know I will love this one as much as my others. God gives only what you can handle. But there is always adoption. DO NOT hurt yourself!!! Seek help immediately if you want to harm yourself. At 20 weeks and still feeling like you just can't raise this child, just give it up for adoption. I don't judge anyone on the decisions they make. Some people have just never been in other's situations and don't know how they would actually handle it. Those people need to stop judging and try to give positive advice. These women don't need to be yelled at or given negative comments! They need your help and that's y they are here! Good luck to all of you. I was in your shoes, but now I am getting use to the idea and even getting a little anxious.
