My curiosity was never that big. And I wasnt thinking days ahead. Maybe that is the reason why I do not know much about things that happens to me or will happen some day. For instance, I am now experiencing increased heart rate and night sweating. So, I wonder is this some uncommon sign of menopause?

About that heart rate I think that you must do some checking, but about night sweating I can tell you this: it is a sign of menopause, but certainly not uncommon. I and my friend (all of us are in menopause) are experiencing this night sweating. I know that it is disturbing, but will pass. Maybe your curiosity needs to be on higher level about this matter. If you make it like that, you will know all possibilities that may appear.

From my experience, and from what I have read, these are common signs of menopause. I have those symptoms.
I would suggest a visit to the doctor, with a special attention to a thyroid test. Many menopausal woman have thyroid issues. Thyroid treatment can help with symptoms if you discover thyroid issues. Thyroid problems can also cause increased heart rate. There are simple blood tests to detect these problems.
Good luck
