| I have an extreme itch between my legs and testicles. If I scratch it too much it starts to burn. I felt what seems to be a rash too. I haven't had any sexual contact before. There's also excessive moisture. Is anything wrong? |

It probably is but nothing dangerous. Your symptoms could be indicating a fungal infections, heat rash, or contact dermatitis. Both heat rash and fungus would show up in moist environments, so you need to keep this area clean and dry.
If it were a fungal infections, you would have to treat it with some kind of otc fungal cream or an ointment, make sure the area is always dry because fungus loves moist more than anybody else. Try applying powder on the area. If this were a heat rash, it would go away on its own within a few days. There’s nothing you should apply on it but you should also keep it dry and cool.
If it were contact dermatitis, a skin reaction to an irritant like deodorants, harsh soaps and detergents, you would have to apply some anti-inflammatory cream like hydrocortisone to calm down the irritation and inflammation.
Since you can’t figure out what it could be, it would be best if you saw a dermatologist who could help you out with the treatment. |
