Itchy and bump like in the labia major

Hi. Last night my vagina was really itchy so I scratched it. When I woke up I found out that my labia major was swollen and had itchy and bump like on it. It's also very sore. I’ve tried treating it with warm water and cream but nothing helped me. I’m not sexually active so I don’t think it is an std… Any ideas??? Is there a way to successfully treat this??? Thanx.

What you’ve described looks like a vaginal yeast infection to me. It is not necessarily sexually transmitted so your sexual activity doesn’t matter. I would strongly suggest you see your doc and in the meantime you can try treating it with clotrimazole vaginal cream. Best of luck.
