Its been 1 month and I still have a hard time swallowing

I had my tonsils out Feb 12th. I no longer have pain but I do have a very hard time swallowing, especially meat and bread items. I still cough all night also. Anyone else have this??

When did all the pain go away, and when were you able to eat real food again? Im so hungry!!

I would say I was finally pain free a week ago. I ate my first meal on day 13 and it was very painful. It does get better.
