Hi, I have just figured out that guy I am sleeping with had warts. Does it mean I am infected too?

Hi, if you are not using protection, it means you are also infected. Genital warts are highly contagious sexually transmitted infection. Usually, Human papillomavirus 6 and 11 are causing it. The disease is spread by oral, genital, or anal sex with an infected partner. There are also strains of genital warts responsible for cervical cancer, but these are not the one causing genital warts. Genital warts often occur in clusters, from tiny structures to widely spread masses. In women the warts occur on the vagina, on the opening of the womb.

Very contagious!!! Go get a pap smear. Warts will not appear unless ur immune system is low or u r stressed. thats what happened to me.
