Just got off of birth control 6 months ago, having my period twice a month, whats wrong with me??

I just got off of birth control about 6 months ago and I have been having my period now twice a month almost and its freaking me out. What could it possibly be??? please help!!!

Hi!
Ok, so this is what your Dr would call 'abnormal bleeding'. Have you talked to your Dr about it yet...?
Whenever I see someone with this problem I get nervous bc tho sometimes it could just be whats normal for you, it can also be some pretty serious health issues.
A few are... ovarian cysts, hpv, which is an std and can lead to cervicle cancer... cervicle cancer(normally late stage cervicle cancer causes bleeding), or uterin infection.
Not things you wanna wait around and hope just go away hun, so please... call ur Dr!!
