Just had Tonsillectomy, now I have VERY sensitive teeth. How long does this last?

I had a tonsillectomy on March 8, 2007. Ever since I have tried to start to eat, all my teeth are very sensitive to any type of food. I have never had problems before with my teeth before. Why are they now like this? How long does this last? PLEASE HELP!
