Every time I have ever been put on Keflex, I end up with a terrible acne condition on my face, chest and back. I get painful red bumps and acne medicine seems to help very little. I will avoid this antibiotic in the future but what can I do now? I eat healthy and have been increasing my yogurt intake. The last time this happened, three months ago, it took over a month for my skin to get back to a normal.

I'm glad that I am not the only one to have this reaction. The first time it happened, I went to see a dermatologist and she told me it was very unlikely to be the Keflex. So here I am in the same boat, after a year, because I took her word for it. I wonder if it happens a lot and people just don't report it. I have read in forum that KEFLEX is a category "B" antibiotic, I wonder if this got something to do with it.
