We saw a new neuro who strongly suggested we consider the Ketogenic diet as a way of controling the seizures. I am currently on Tegretol, Lamictal and Clonazapam. I am not a picky eater but I love to eat. I would like to hear something about this diet. Is there anyone on Ketogenic diet? If there is what can you tell me.

I was on the Ketogenic Diet and it worked very well but not seizure free for my brain is fully developed. You eat high fat, protein, and low carb diet with no fruit, sugar, or junk foods, but I think You should check out the Atkins diet first just too see how it works. I know that Atkins is also effective with epilepsy. I personally eat protein foods and a low carb diet and I limited drinks.
