My friend told me how kidney infections are dangerous. He said if left untreated, they could cause blood poisoning, loss of a kidney, or perhaps even death. This made me worry so much, so I would like to hear more about it. He said that most people do not recognize the symptoms. That is why I would like you to tell me something about kidney infection symptoms.

What your friend told you is true, and we should all take care about symptoms when our body alert there is something wrong. Typical symptom for Kidney Infection is burning during urination. This is also a good sign of untreated urinary tract infections, which can lead to kidney infections. This burning is painful and will sometimes bring tears to your eyes, and it should not be confused with yeast infections. Patients often feel a pain in the lower back, right around the waist, and it could feel like a dull ache. Any pain concentrated to that small corner of the lower back could indicate kidney trouble, and requires doctors supervising. Furthermore, for people who get frequent kidney infections, the number one sign is the fatigue, which can hit suddenly. Usually a low-grade fever goes along with a Kidney Infection in its early stages, and if left untreated, fever will rise.
If you have any of some symptoms that are typical for kidney infection, call the doctor immediately. Definitely, this is not condition to play with, but serious disease, as your friend told you.
