Hi. I am a guy 47 years old and I had a few operations last few years plus I have prostatitis so I am using klonopin for managing pain. It is working very well, and I am fully satisfied. But every once in a while I get high, and, since I'm not a junkie, it bothers me. I don't think I could stop taking it right now. Some experiences.

I know your situation. I was using klonopin at one time (but for much lesser reasons), and gotten high from it every once in a while, so I stopped. If you can manage the pain – in time your body will be more resistant. It is sometime misused for this characteristic. It isn't so strong as the others painkillers, so you shouldn't worry that much about addicting to it. What you should do is miss a dose every once in a while.
