I have dealt with depression and anxiety my whole life and was able to manage it without medication until after I had my baby in December of 2006. I started feeling lightheaded on a daily basis almost like a constant daze feeling and couldn't focus or think straight. It even affected my sight at times. After my OB ran every possible blood test he sent me to a neurologist who told me it was extreme anxiety and put me on Klonopin 3 times a day. After being on it for 7 months and having no feelings at all I decided feeling something was better than feeling nothing and made the choice to come off it completely. I have been off the Klonopin now for 1 month and 1 day and other than the expected withdrawal feelings (chest pains, feelings of jumping out of my skin, trouble sleeping ect.) I am feeling the same lightheaded feeling again like a constant daze and was wondering if this was normal?
Before my OB sent me to the neurologist the one thing he said that stood out to me was that "there are certain tumors that can make you feel that way"
(just give me the worst case scenario why don't ya) and I am very scared that maybe it wasn't anxiety to begin with.
Can someone please shed a little light for me here> I would really appreciate it.
