Hello. I have a knot behind my right ear that is very tender. It's not in the soft tissue (lymph node) but it is on the lower skull bone. I haven't had any trauma to the head, in fact, I just noticed it last night. My husband can see the difference in size compared to my right ear. Has anyone had this? I don't feel ill, just worried as to what it could be.

I don't feel like I have a knot just a very sore area on the bone behind my right ear. This is the second time in a three week span that this has happened. It went away after a day or so the first time but is back again. Did you ever determine what was causing your problem?
