I am 68 years old. I was going to the aiport to take the flight to Washington D.C. via Doha and it is a 13 hours non stop flight from Doha. I had stomach pain and went to the doctor and did tests and scan and the doctor said I have gal bladder stones. I was admitted and laproscopy surgery was done on 15th October 2007 and was discharged on 17th. I am back home cancelled my trip to US. I am feeling almost normal but there is some feeling of discomfort inside the stomach. I am taking diabetic diet as I am insulin dependent diabetic. I take my usual tablets for hypertension. I have not yet started driving my car. I go for walk for about 30 minutes outside my house. I think I will be normal soon in a month or so. If anyone wants to see how this surgery is done without a single drop of blood coming out, you may visit the site of the hospital where I did the surgery. gemhospitalindia.com
Click on opertive video and click on Galbladder and you choose English for the narration of the doctor from the beginning to end of the surgery which takes only 20 minutes.
