I had a hemrrhoidectomy 10/30 and had pretty much the same experience as those listed above. 14 days post surgery I felt okay taking regular sitz baths and minimal medication, Advil throughout the day. Pretty much back to my oldself. On 11/14 I needed to go back to the hospital for corrective surgery! I had huge blood loss mostly in the form of clots. The surgeon had to restitch...add a stitch...whatever. Now I feel like I am back to square one! Several people have mentioned LED therapy as helping them. What is it? Got to be better than Oxy Codene!
