LEEP a week ago and Red Discharge and PAIN!
I had a LEEP aweek ago today, I was put to sleep for it, and I didn't bleed or discharge, it didn't hurt at all for 4 days, then a big blood clot came out, I think it wasn't bloody it was the color of skin and it was huge I touched it ,it was soft like skin. Then after that I am having a light reddish Discharge, and stuff is coming out like skin when I go pee. I have been having pain, it not cramping it just hurt inside, it hurt me last night and I could not get sleep, and its hurting now like it all wants to fall out of me like pressure in side of my vigina. Should I call my doctor or wait it out?  |

These are LEEP side effects. Vaginal bleeding, drainage and spotting is a regular occurrence after the LEEP, so is the pain and the cramping. You can use pads for the discharge but make sure you don’t insert anything inside your vagina. Refrain from sexual acts for at least 4 weeks or until you doc gives you a green light. You can have normal showers but don’t douche.
If you can’t stand the pain, you can use pain killers, anything except Aspirin, or aspirin based drugs. Aspirin can increase bleeding, so you better use something like ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil) or acetaminophen (Tylenol). |
