I think that wearing makeup, or not wearing makeup is a personal choice. Whatever makes you happy!

I never used to wear much in my teens... mascara and clear lip gloss hear and there. But I started to wear much more in college- mainly because I have a lot of redness on my nose, and I get blotchy skin. I dont like the way that I look without an even skin tone, so I try to achieve that with makeup.

But I must say, eventually you become accustomed to what you look like with it, and when you stop wearing it, it is easy to feel unattractive. I guess the point is, that if you DO decide to wear makeup, wear it because you want to- but don't let it change your attitude towards your natural appearance. We are all beautiful, and life isn't about how we look. It is who we are.

i totally think that makeup is a waste of time not only does it cost a lot of monney, but people wear it for false reasons, from what ive heard all my guy friends are more interested in girls that are against wearing makeup, i think the reason so many people now adays are so adicted to wearing makeup is the advertising put across by all celevrities and other people that are looked up to, in my school, there are only about four other students that don't wear makeup, and to tell you the truth, they are the best looking and get the most attention from the guys

You should never feel any less of a woman just because you chose not to wear makeup. Make up is merely a 'mask'. Woman like to wear it to make themselves feel pretty, confident, express their individuality etc...which is just fine as well. But if you dont feel you want to wear makeup...as it can be quite a routine in the morning,.,...then thats fine. you are beautiful just how you are..makeup or not!
As one member said.. melanie i beleive....its a personal choice, whatever makes you happy.

A note since some posters seem to think that makeup will make your skin look bad: Good makeup will not cause your skin to age faster or look worse than someone who opts to not wear makeup. In fact, it can be helpful since the good stuff has sun protection in it.

What ages the skin is smoking, a lousy diet, too much booze, and too much sun exposure. Eat well, wear sunblock every day, and keep alcohol to a moderate amount, and your skin will wear well.

To answer the OP: Not wearing makeup isn't any stranger than wearing it. Just be sure that you use a sunscreen every day to protect your skin!

I don't use make up when I'm at home not like my mom. I'm guilty though that I'm lazy doing it and I'm not that good at it. I only use it when I'm going out of the house or going to party. So my friends, I always warn them not to surprise visit me. lolz

But to share to all of you what I use...It's a mineral make up that's so easy to apply and use. I also don't need to retouch the whole day.

And the product I use to makes my skin glow even without a make up are Kojic ACid product that was introduced to me by my good friend.

I will never go back to those branded ,expensive skin care line.

Hey, ima guy, ima give you a little bit of advise froma guys point of view

Girls should wear make up, only light amounts, dont put lots on and make yourself look like a god damn lime brick! To much make up puts a guy off, not enough does that same, being as you dont like to, apply a light bit of powder or foundation around your face to make yourself look more youthful and wear a lil bit of lip gloss to make you more femanin Smile I prefer that type of girl, knowing she doesnt have to hide behinde loads of make up.. Also, for you girls that call guys ugaly and wear makeup, you have no right to because you hide behinde all that shit around your face, doesnt apply to me, but its for the other guys out there! Wink well goodluck !

okay,
I'm afraid not to wear make up.
I fell like I look like a complete and total monster.
I don't feel pretty with out it...ever.
I've been wearing make up since 6th grade now I'm in ninth and I need to break this freakin habbit.
i just would like to be able to wake up later and not have to worry about trying to immpress people.
when there is no need.
They should like me for who i am.
Not at all what i look like.
