It has been 5 days since gallbladder surgery; prior to surgery I had been having abdominal pain and taking tylenol and tylenot with codeine.
This seemed to cause dry mouth all the time.
For the last three days I have had laryngitis--barely able to speak at all.
Could this be caused by pain meds, or is it a side effect of the surgery?
This may not be important to most people, but as a singer it concerns me. I have tried to drink plenty of fluids so don't think it's dehydration.

I just had gallbladder removal as well. When you went under the Dr's put a breathing tube in (I don't think they are too gentle about it). I also have a sqeaky voice from the breathing tube
