Late/Missed Period, abdominal pain, vaginal burning

I am approximately ten days late with my period. I have taken several home pregnancy tests all of which came out negative, I even went to the Doctor yesterday and the urine test came out clean for any infections or pregnancy. They also took a blood test just in case but I have not gotten the results yet.

The vaginal discomfort has not subsided. I had abdominal pains for about 5 days and when the Dr. pressed on a certain area ( i can't remember where) it hurt. I'm never usually this late or have symptoms like this. I am going crazy trying to figure out what is wrong since the Dr. could not find anything specifically wrong with me.

Does anyone have any ideas of what could be happening to me? I would greatly appreciate it.

OMIGOD>..im experiencing exactly the same thing right now...im so worried im driving myself crazy. my pd is only 4 days late right now and it's never late. i have the same abdomen cramps. my appt with the doc is later in the week. if u dont mind, did u ever find out what was wrong> if so, would u mind sharing it with me so at least i have some answers for myself. please and thank you.

Hi. I am looking around on the internet for ages and cam across this one. All post i have read so far are and relate to me.

Me period is never late, normaly comes at the start of the month, but it is neally 3 weeks late. I am off my food and i feel like i can be sick with the sight of looking or smelling or even thinking about food. I have had some pains in my stomach, but they dont happen all the time. I am only 21 years old and i dont think i could cope with a baby at the moment. I'm too young. Havnt been to the doc yet, but if my period does come this week im am going to book for next week.

Any ideas of what your might have been?

I had the same problem as yours. this month i missed my period. it was 20 days late. i checked with doc and did several tests to make sure i wasn't preg and i wasn't. guess what! i just had my period! and it hurts like hell. i never had this much pain during my period. i'm 21 yrs old but, this is the first time i am going through this much pain. that is why im checking on internet to find out why and so i found this page. doctors said it happens sometimes with alot of women. they said maybe cos of stress n stuff like that could cause to irregular period. it's no big deal. but i'm going crazy here!!!

You may want to ask your doctor for an unltrasound for an ovarian cist. I was experiencing these same signs..for about a year!! i went to the doctor once and when they pressed in a cerain area it hurt a little. the doctor told me a cyst is possible. i ignored this bc i didn't think it was so b/c i was not having pain that usually accompanies a cyst. the next year i did not have a period for two months. it was time for my regular visit so i went in and told them i had no period. the doctor pressed and once again in this same spot..that pain again. so they ordered me an ultrasound. sure enough..i had multiple cysts. one of which was an ovaraian cyst that in some way i was told was the cause of my periods being so irregular.

I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one having the same problem - period pain and no period... Its been ongoing for 5 days now and 3 pregnancy tests all came out negative. Had sex the day after my last period ended and that's it.... no more sex this whole cycle, so not alot of chance of me being pregnant from THIS cycle, but what about the last one? Then I had sex on the day I was supposed to ovulate, but then had a normal period 2 weeks later. I've heard you can still have a period if you're newly pregnant, but that would make me 6 weeks pregnant now and with 3 negative pregnancy tests..... it isn't logical, but I'm in a panic nonetheless. Doctor's visit scheduled tomorrow... anyone who's had doctor's results from these symptoms, your story would be helpful! Thanks.

hi ...i have exactly same problem as you had....i missed my period for 8 days while it is always regular....i feel pain in lower abdominal area...i had 2 home pregnancy test...all NEGATIVE ...i saw a doc...even there i had urine test..result was NEGATIVE ....i had blood test and no result till now (after 2 days).....pls let me know what's going on ? i'm really worried...

same symptoms as all of you. I have abdominal cramps...but really only when i go to the bathroom. i have a little bit of vaginal discharge, my period is 10 days late....i took like 3 NEGATIVE pregnancy tests. I was tested for a urine infection and it was negative

i have no idea what is wrong with me, and i dont have heath insurance so im not sure what i should do....

ok usually I have a very heavy period for atleast 6 days. clotting and everything and I usually get horrible cramps. This period is late 5 days and I still have the cramps, not as bad but still pretty bad.

I don't know what it is yet. I am going to take a test, and I heard that my heavy period could be a cyst, so I am going to go to the doctor asap.

i have the same problem but i havent gotten my period in 2 months. im not pregnant but why has it been so long?
