Late period; what does this mean?

Hi there. I had sex with my boyfriend in November 2006, the day after my period finished. It was the first time I had sex. We didn't use any protection either. I usually get my period at the beginning of the month but in December it came on the 30th. My breasts have grown a little and there're tender at times. I know that I had my period in December into January but I get sick at nights and vomit sometimes. In the days I'm fine it's just at night times I get ill. My friend told me that although I got my period, I could still be pregnant. Is this true?
