Left Inner Labia, swollen, sore, inflammed, no sign of yeast

I've been on dianette as a contraceptive for just under a year, had no problems with anything. Recently I've had a bad chest infection so got prescribed penicillin.

Last night, I got some breakthrough bleeding which is something I never normally have then this morning my left inner labia is very swollen and sore, it hurts to sit and it rubs when I walk. I'm guessing since I haven't had sex recently and have no other symptoms of yeast infections etc this could be down to dianette and penicillin mixing together or just a reaction to penicillin.

I think I'm going to leave it a couple of days to see if the swelling disappears and if not go see my doctor (as much as I really don't want to!) What do you all think is the best thing to do? Or what may be causing it
