Hi, a year ago I was 11 weeks pregnant and found out that it was a eptopic pregancy.I had sugury and had my right tube removed. The doctor told me that my left tube has some scare tissue also and she gave me a low percentage of possible future pregnancys. I know a woman personaly who had her left tube removed and her right tube is scare and worse than the one removed and the doc told her she had a very low percentage of having a child. But guess what she has 2 kids now after the information that the doc gave her. My question is, after my eptopic. I have sex with my husband unprocted quite a bit for about 4 months now, still not pregnant, my menstral cycles are normal every 28,29 days, lasts for 3 to 4 days. I keep track of when my menstral cylcle comes on and goes off, I tried the ovulation counting thing and the tempeture thing and my husband sperm count is normal, I have and 8 year old child , I'm 28yr old so I know I can bare a child. I'ts been a while since my eptopic. So could you tell me any resons why I havent gotton pregnant yet and what can I do to get pregnant in a situation like this.? I asked the doctor he basically told me there is no hope please reply! thank you  |

There are procedures, an HSG being one, which can unblock some scar tissue..But obviously there are no guarantees.
Ask your doc about an HSG, see if he/she feel that maybe this could help push out a few blockages. |

| i just recently had a myomectomy and also removed my right tube. my left tube is also scarred. my doctor told me that i could try on my own to get pregnant but if not IVF is an option. How soon is soon to start trying to conceive. |

| i had my daugther at 14 and at 20 fell preg again. only this time it was a eptopic preg that was ayear ago.this mouth my period was 8 days late i've blot bleed for a day and thats it could this be a good sign? |
