Leg numbness following hysterectomy

I had hysterectomy 5 weeks ago. Few days following hysterectomy I felt leg numbness. Is this normal symptom after surgery? Should I be concerned?

I had partial hysterectomy 3 years ago and now total. Right after surgery I started experiencing total numbness in my right leg. I’ve been tested, he thought I had MS but quickly ruled it out. I will ask for second opinion, somehow I don’t trust him.
