Posted: 09/03/07 - 19:14 Post subject: Lexapro Withdrawal and CRAZY behavior
I was on Lexapro for several months. 10mgs. I'm a very small person. I stopped taking it because I didn't get my prescription picked up and thought I would wait until the following week. After a couple days I started feeling CRAZY... dizzy, just wierd. I did something out of my character completely... I stole a credit card and went shopping like a mad person.. then realized what I did and felt incrediable sorrow and grief and felt like ending my life. I am seeing a Psych about this and now facing legal issues but need help from ANYONE please out there.. has anyone heard of such a thing? I'm a bit manic and I know going off the Lexpro made me do something I would never do and it was like I couldn't control my actions or thoughts.. I'm in my 40's and never ever in my life had done anything closely related to this. I'm possibly going through the beginning of menapause too... Please any help will be so beneficial to me. Thank you and God Bless you.
