Lexapro and Mania

I've been experiencing shocking sensation to my head and then to my arms and feet with dizziness too since I started lexapro withdrawal. I've been lowering my lexapro dosages from 30mg to 5 by 5mg per week. I was wondering if anyone else who is lowering their dosage is experiencing same sensation. I’ve heard that lexapro can cause mania???

I have been feeling the same "shocking" sensation too and I just weaned myself off of Lexapro within about a 2 week period, after being on it for 4 months. I've been getting kind of worried because I could not figure out what was wrong with me. I already read one post about "mania" feeling. It looks like it is just a side effect off getting off of this for some people.
