I am interested in effects of Lexapro in pregnancy. I just found out that I am pregnant and I want to know how Lexapro affects my situation. Should I stop using it? Will it affect my baby? Are there withdrawal symptoms or may I stop using it suddenly? I am just so afraid for my baby; I do not know what to do.

I think that you should contact your doctor immediately. There have been several cases of newborn babies who had serious complications their mother took Lexapro in the last three months of pregnancy. Lexapro should be taken in pregnancy only if it is the only way you can deal with your condition. Also, Lexapro will be in your breast milk and can affect your infant. So, a consultation with doctor should be the first priority now.
