I am going to the gym for the last two weeks. I am a beginner. I am still getting familiar with basic exercises, lifting and breathing techniques, nutrition etc. I am a good listener. I want to build up great body. I want to know about lifting schedules. Should I do it every day, every other day, three times a week or some other schedule?

First you should do is to NOT listen the guys from the gym. They usually have a lot of advices and until you separate the good from the bad ones you will lose a lot of time. Search advices from trainer or from friends that is long in body building. I am going to the gym for 7 years. The best way for me is to do it three times a week. It allows muscles to relax and grow so you can get the maximum from them. Some people do it one day then rest for two and so one. That is also good. Do not workout every day.
