Lightheadedness from recent vomiting and diarrhea How long can it last?

It's been about a week since vomiting and diarrhea and have started to feel light headed on and off since.. am taking some advil which helps, but it still returns. This kind of sickness should only last a few days... There are no other symptoms other than a feeling of uneasiness. Is this related to the stomach infection I recently had?
