Hi. I had abdominal pain and I did CT scan and ultrasound of liver. And so I was diagnosed with a liver, or hepatitic cysts. That was the cause of a liver enlargement. My doctor said that it`s no big deal and that I don`t need a treatment. How that can be? Should I ask for a second opinion? I had policystic kidney disease and wonder is there some kind of a connection?
Hi, yeah, liver cysts, I have found out that I have those by an accident. There are no symptoms in most of the cases. It`s a benign problem that won`t give you any hard times. Kidney disease could be the cause of your liver cysts. No treatment is necessary, unless the cysts start to cause problems (become infected, for example). In that case, they can be surgically removed.
