Liver problems after taking Celebrex

Osteoarthritis is the name of condition my mother will have to deal until the end of her life. She is 67 years old and she already has diabetes, now she has another problem to think of. Since she is taking meds already, I am afraid for her liver now that she will have to take Celebrex. Are liver problems possible after taking this medication after a long period?

My father has been using the same drug for his problems with rheumatoid arthritis and it worked all right for him until the doctors found out some heart problems that were caused by that drug. It seems that this medication is forbidden for those that already have some heart issues. As for liver, he did not have any problems but I guess it is quite possible.
