Hi. Some 4 months ago severe right arm pain woke me up… Even few days afterwards I was experiencing tingling and numbness. As I was very worried I have had many tests by now like Lumbar puncture, MRI's and EMG. The EMG showed that I have 3 long thorasic nerves severely affected and my dr. diagnosed me with long thorasic nerve palsy. Ever since I’ve been on painkillers to control the pain but no treatments to treat nerves. As I’ve never had any injury that could be cause for this how did I get this?? Is there a way to treat this?? Thanks.

Hi. I’m sorry to hear all you wrote. Nerves are very delicate, no matter where they are, and therefore they can get damaged in many ways. So, having injury is not the only thing that can cause this. Luckily, there is something more you can do about it, apart from tests you’ve already had. If your state douse not change, you could take exploratory surgery which should give your dr. at least a good clue. Once you locate it, you’ll be able to start correct treatment. Good luck. ., your problem another reason for this type of nerve damage? I will be undergoing yet another

if your muscles are getting tired and drawn, get a good remedial massage
person to check it out, also if loosing good sleep, see your dr to prescribe en-dep, a nerve settling drug, it's also a antidepressant, i do't like drugs either but i let my problem go to long and got karted away in an ambulance from work from massive muscle spasms. it works a treat. but again is not a cure, but it may stear you back in right direction, and also to every one with bad backs , it's hard but relax, meditate, be kind to all people, keep occupied doing what you love. and this will help. pain will still be there, but it will be there if your unhappy also. good luck.
