Looking for information about possible frenulum tear

I am a 24 uncircumsiced male.
I have had sex with at least 30 different partners over the course of many many years and I have never encountered this problem.
I believe I have slightly torn my frenulum (I had no idea what it was called until this happened.)
The skin connecting my foreskin to the head of my penis has a obvious very small cut on the right side of it. It is very painful, but only if I pull my foreskin back.
After searching for hours on the internet for more information, I am very anxious that this means I am:
A: Never going to be able to have sex without worrying about tearing it.
B: Going to need an adult circumsicion to have normal sex again.

If anyone could give me any information about this I would greatly appreciate it. I don't think that I have a short frenulum as I have never had trouble with this in the past and have been having sex regularly since I was 16 years old. I realize I should go to a urologist, but I am terrified to hear the worst and was hoping someone could give me a little more information before I do that.

supposedly when it rips it will heal itself after a week or two. but when it heals it heals with scar tissue..which isnt as strechable as the original. This means it will eventually rip again (i've read cases that it hasnt ripped for years down the line). Supposedly there is a surgery (frenuoloplasty) available that isnt very painful which removes the frenulum all together.

I am 20 and my frenulum just ripped! (I didn't know what it was called either) About a week ago, I tore it a little, and saw that I had a little space there. It hurt, but the pain went away and everything went back to normal. Last night, however, there was a big rip, a lot of pain, and blood. The gap is now quite wide, and there is pain in urinating, pulling the foreskin back, and when I get an erection. I'm afraid that the damage is unreparable. I think that if I just let it heal again, it will rip again.
Do I need circumcision? That in itself is scary, not so much because of the pain as much as the complete change of my personal image.
I think I'm going to go see a doctor sometime this weekend, but can someone tell me something about it?

Has anyone experienced the frenulum rip-circumcision process? I can't see many other options, but if there are any, please tell.

I have a piercing right under my frenulum and it has streched quite a bit after i got it done. I masturbate frequently and it still hasn't torn. I am worried that it will though cause it has stretched from a 16gauge to about a 6gauge.

I ripped mind when as a young teen I decided to see what it would be like to make use of the vaccum cleaner as a suction tool, just as it tore mum arrived home and I wrapped my penis in a cloth and pulled up my pants and pretended nothing had happened. Lator on checking I was stunned at the ammount of blood. I was worried at the time about ill effects, but once it healed I found it made little difference to sex or masturbation. Not having it intact means my foreskin can be pulled back a little more without the stretch. In short, don't worry about it.
