I am 46, trim, and in good health. No STD's. After long hard sex about an hour and a half ago, I had a hard ejaculation, but I did not get to see it. I was showering shortly after and I had a sensation that I was "still full", with a mild, mild, burning sensation all down the penis. Why lie? I peed in the shower. I couldn't do it right away, but I wanted to. I still had a half a hard on. When I did (lasting about 45 seconds) there was nothing but blood for about 15 seconds, followed by half blood, half urine. During the long pee, in the half blood/half urine stage a huge dark red, but not black blood clot came out, hit the tub floor like a harked up lump of flem, and wasn't going anywhere. It just stuck there. There were smaller "splats" of clot coming out as well. The clot was about the size of three quarter coins all together, not including the seperate smaller clots. My eyes damn near fell out, and were big as doorknobs this whole time, so I remember it well, and am very able to answer any questions anyone may have about my event, but for now, if somebody knows anything I'd surely appreciate any info I can get. I haven't had a chance to research this, so I don't know if I'm gonna bleed to death, or what.
Thanks.

This happened to me a few years back. In my case, not necessarily yours, I had scar tissue in my urethra from a childhood accident. The scar was opening and bleeding, then sealing itself (hence the clotting). It used to take me a long time to pee 30-45 seconds...and got to the point where with alcohol it was very difficult and painful.

So finally, after forever, I went to see my urologist. He quickly did some painless stuff...like peeing in a toilet that measures urine flow and doing an ultrasound after peeing and knew pretty much right away that the scar tissue needed to be removed.

It's been several years now and I go for checkups every couple years but all is good. All I can say is go see your urologist. It was far scarier not knowing and not as embarrassing as I thought it might be.

Best of luck, I hope this helps anyone dealing with the same problems.

Thanks Guest.... for some comforting story. I recently had this happened to me and went to see the doctor the next day. Yes, I ejaculated. I went to use the restroom 30 minutes later and it looks dark and didn't think much of it. In the morning when I woke up, I went to use the restroom and my urine was dark in color. I was scared and called my doctor. Well, good thing 3 weeks earlier I took a blood test. Everything from kidney to diabetes was negative, so doc said my blood in urine is common for men and it can be caused by rough sex or by rough masturbation. We’re only human. Go see your doctor is my recommendation. Don't be scared. Better sooner than later.
