Low Blood Pressure, High Pulse

I just recently went to the doctor because I have been having troubles sleeping and they took my pulse and my blood pressure and were freaking out because no matter what they did to me my pulse would always stay between 98-116. My blood pressure as usual was lower than normal. What exactly is going on? I'm not a smoker, I don't drink. I exercise regularly, and I'm not overweight.....
