My mom has low body temperature for days. Can this be dangerous? What she should do? She is not sick as far as we know, although she hasn’t seen a doctor yet. What can be the possible cause for low body temperature?

How low is her body temperature? An abnormally Low Body Temperature can be serious, even life-threatening. It may occur from cold exposure, shock, alcohol or drug use, or certain metabolic disorders, such as diabetes or hypothyroidism, it may also be present with an infection and an overwhelming infection, such as Gram-negative sepsis, may also cause an abnormally low body temperature.
