Low gallbladder fraction

Hi! I am new here, but just need some input. My Pipida scan showed my gallbladder only functioning at 4%. I have mild cramping and radiating back aching sometimes. But the big issue is the uncontrollable diahrrea I experience a lot. My GI Dr. said if I wasn't experiencing great pain I really didn't need to have my gallbladder out! Why have the scan if it doesn't matter? What can happen with such a low functioning gallbadder if you leave it there? AND the big question is how to resolve the bowel issues if its left there? Any help is appreciated, I am so frustrated and it's ruling my life style!
