I stopped breastfeeding my daughter about a month ago. For about four months prior to that I was only nursing her once a day. My period still has not returned, but I am having on and off abdominal pain (it feels like the ovarian pain I used to get when ovulating) daily since a couple of days after I quit breastfeeding. At first I thought I must be ovulating but I did not get my period afterwards like I should have so I don't think that's what it could be. Is it normal to have that kind of pain before menstruation starts up again? Or could it be something else? Thank you.
