Lump on my throat

Hello

On Saturday night my throat was quite sore and I noticed that a small lump had appeared just below my jaw (and just above where my adam's apple would be if i were a man). Since then my throat has not hurt, i have had no troubles breathing or swallowing, yet the lump is still there and when i apply pressure to it it hurts.

I am worried that this could be cancerous. Does anyone know what it could be?
