I have a small lump on the side of my neck about half way up. It has been there for a month or so. It didn't hurt at first but now it kind of sends a pain up my neck. I have been suffering from TMJ for a couple of years now. I heard that the two could be related. Any advice?

If the lump is near the bottom part of your neck have your doctor check you out. I had trouble swallowing and ended up with thyroid cancer. I had my thyroid gland removed less than a month later.
