Lump under rt jaw bone when eating

I feel fine. But when I start chewing, this knot raises up under my rt jaw bone. When I stop eating, it will go down in a few minutes. Feels a little bruised and slightly swollen otherwise. What the heck is this? At 49 yrs I have never experienced this.

hi there, i also had this a while ago and it ws caused by a blocked saliva gland. if this is the same then also at the same time you should feel a weird sensation underneath your tongue. this is where the saliva comes out and the lump is the gland that produces saliva everytime you chew.
i would see a doctor about this but doubt its anything serious
