Hi, me and my brother have lyme but with almost completelly different symptoms. He feels muscle pain and his neck is stiff. Itchy rash and fever, sometimes headache. I have a rash also, but not itchy, joint pain and sometimes lyme affects my behavior. Could women and men have different symptoms of lyme? Some sort of a female symptoms?

Hi, I don`t think so. You have many diseases more likely to hit males of females, but lyme is lyme, it`s not some sort of a “female disease”, so there is no female symptoms. Lyme has many symptoms, but sometimes they pass unnoticed. Deer thicks are small and you may not be able to see anything. Fatigue and lethargy are also symptoms of lyme. In early stages, lyme can be cured. Untreated, will cause complications with your heart, joints and nervous system.
