Lymph nodes

My doctor just told me the I have to adnormal Lymph nodes on my ovaries. I Had a hysterectomy 4or5 years ago and had on ovary removed, then they had to go back in to take the other on out 16 months later, and after that rement was left and a mass formed and they had to do another surgery. So I am confused about what the Lymph nodes are on.
