Hi, my friend who is 53 years old is suffering from prostate cancer. His doctor told him that he has to be operated and get chemotherapy after operation. Doctor told him that chemotherapy would be applied in order to prevent lymphovascular invasion of cancer cells. I would like to know something more about it.

Hi, cancers have evil manner to spread all over the human body. In that purpose they are using lymphatic ways same as vascular ways. Cancer cells may be disseminated easily and far away cancer appearing is called metastasis. That is the reason why doctor intend to give you chemotherapy and prevent lymphvascular invasion.
