| I usually have discharge after sex, like most I assume do... But last night I had unprotected sex, and he didn't pull out. This morning when i went to the bathroom I had extremely bad dishcharge, but I mean EXTREMELY thick, can't get it completely out discharge. Last night I also had cramping through the night also. He has also came in me a few days earlier and probably a few days earlier than that also. About 3 times this month. I am on the pill. Any suggestions? |

I am 32 and can tell you from experience that it's ok to sometimes have cramping after very active sex. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. Try some ibuprofen as it will probably be more effective than tylenol b/c it affects prosteglandins. The thick discharge may just be his fluids (semen). If you had lots of sex with the same guy over the past few days, his semen probably has thickened up a bit--it tends to do that--ex. the first time in a week or two it is thin but after having sex several days in a row it is thicker and more mucous like and looks more like thick vaginal discharge than the type of semen you are probably used to seeing. Sounds like you are sore, and that your uterus has been contracting after sex, which is normal, esp. with orgasm, and esp. if your cervix has been overworked and is irritated or bruised. What is unfortunate about oral birthcontrol is that it tricks your body into thinking you are pregnant, so the female reproductive organs don't go through the normal monthly cycles--for ex. the cervix wouldn't thin and get soft during ovulation like it does for women not on birthcontrol, nor would it move to a higher spot in the vagina or change positions unless prompted to do so by female orgasm, also, the female fluids or discharge don't change as drastically or thin as much during mid cycle b/c there is no ovulation taking place. That is why you don't get pregnant on birthcontrol--you do not ovulate! I would think that if you have an STD, if that's what you are worried about, it would take a little while maybe a week or more for the discharge to appear, because, like with any infection, there is an "incubation" period.
Hope this helps allay your fears! Sounds like you had some dynamic sex is all. Take some ibuprofen and feel better. Pregnant women generally worry if they get cramps, because they **don't** want their uterus to contract, because that is what labor is and early labor can terminate a pregnancy. Women who know they are pregnant **generally** fear cramps. |
