MIssed two periods, taken provera, still has not started.....???

My last lmp was AUg 22nd, and I stopped the nuvaring the end of june. I am not stressed out, no weight gain or loss, no change of diet or activites. I have gained about 5 pounds, but have taken many home tests and two blood tests which all came back negative. I have taken a 5 day round of provera to start my period and it has been a week since last pill and still has not come. I have a pelvic ultrasound scheduled. My question is has this happened to anyone else? And what was the outcome? Pregnant? Thyroid? Please Help?

Hi! This has happened to me before and from what my doctor told me, if I didn't start after taking Provera then I was either pregnant or in menopause. Unfortunately, for me it was menopause (and I was only 28!!). You may want to ask your doctor to run a series of blood tests, specifically to check your FSH level and your estrogen level. Good luck!

hey im going through all that now nd my doctor is concerned about cushing disease you should look it up and get info and ask ur doc bout it good luck
