HI MY NAME IS JENNIFER AND I HAVE RECENTLY BEEN DIAGNOISED WITH MRSA AND I AM 3 MO PREGNANT. MY DOCTORS DONT WANT TO PUT ME ON ANYTHING THEY THINK MY BODY CAN JUST FIGHT IT OFF IS TIS TRUE I HAVE BEEN REALLY SICK FOR 2 WEEKS NOW AND I MIGHT HAVE PNUMONIA WHAT SHOULD I DO??

As a registered nurse, MRSA is difficult to aquire unless you are immunocompromised in any way. Your Dr. should be able to treat MRSA if you do indeed have it. I would not worry if just exposed.

Don't listen to these people. They don't know what they are talking about. This MRSA that has been going around is fairly easy to get and difficult to get rid of. I also have it, and have had it now for 6 mo. I show symptoms ever 3-5 weeks in the form of boils or blisters. I am now a month pregnant as well. I plan to go to another doctor soon and discuss this with them. I don't know if you can be treated while pregnant or not. I hope to find out soon.
