MS Contin causing strange skin bumps around veins?

I have been using MS Contin for my back pain. The doctors are still determining whether to perform an operation or not and in meanwhile, I am in a lot of pain. Anyway, after 10 days of using it I have decided to stop but ran into some unexpected problems. It seems that stopping of taking MS Contin is causing strange skin bumps around veins. Why is that? Is it serious?

Well, ending MS Contin therapy could be a bit hard, especially if that happens after a long period of using. In first 24 hours after the stopping, you might experience goose bumps, restlessness, runny nose, sweating etc. After that, these symptoms might occur: pain in abdominal area and legs, cramps, diarrhea, anxiety, loss of appetite, nausea and many others. Majority of these symptoms should be gone in a week or two.
