Well i've been on YAZ for a few months now and honestly i think i might be going crazy. This medicine is supposed to help with PMDD symptoms, but mine seem to have intensified. And whats worst is that i just cry sometimes for no reason at all. I cant explain it but i just feel so sad in like a split second. At first my appetite was that of a thousand sailors lost at sea, but now my appetite has completely diminished. I have to have my roommate remind me to eat because often I forget since I dont feel hungry. I have spliting headaches that come abruptly. My vision is messed up, therefore i cant see at night to drive. Oh and as far as my cramps go, they feel like i'm giving birth to a calf. So intense to the point that my body shakes and i cant move. On the plus side, my period has lightened and become more predictable.

I was just put on Yaz 3 weeks ago for PMDD symptoms. Debilating fatigue one week before my period along with stress, anxiety and panic attacks. After being on Yaz for one week all those symptoms came back and are lasting throughout the entire month. They were bad enough one week out of the month! These sypmtoms were also intensified. I thought I was going crazy. Cry bouts, anxiety and depression. Decrease in libido and vaginal dryness also accompanied the other symptoms. Not to forget the lightheadedness every morning until about noon. This was affecting my work and personal life. I am afraid to drive. I called my doctor and asked could it be the Yaz? She said maybe and I just stopped it yesterday. I already feel better. We are going to try Loestrin 24.
