Hello, I am a 26 yr old female who just had a consultation on March 4th for a breast reduction and a tummy tuck. I made the decision to have the surgery on the 17th due to factors of recovery time and current employment standing (I have no job right now). Am I doing this too quickly? Should I be waiting to do this? I am extremely happy with my doctor of choice. But others are very very concerned that I am doing this too quickly.

Hi there,

Who's your doc? Did you made a research regarding his past practice? Have you found any reviews about his work?

I'm also not informed well about this kind of surgery, but if I were you, I'd do more research before I made the decision to set down under the knife!

Let us know more about the surgery performer (surgeon) so people here could possibly share their positive or negative experiences with this person.

Take care!

The doctor's name is Irvin M. Wiesman. He practices out of Chicago and northern burbs. He not only does plastic surgery but also microvascular hand surgery. He has been performing surgery of some kind since 1995. He has been performing plastic surgery for the past 6 years. He currently works with his father, Gary G. Wiesman. If anyone has had dealings with either doctor, please replay with the good or bad.

Hey,

I've heard before about Dr. Gary Wiesman. He's well-known surgeon in Illinois. I've checked their website (drwiesman.com) and it seems his son is also very good plastic surgeon, so I think you're in good hands.

However, I coudn't find any reviews regarding Irvin's work, only pictures which show pretty amazing results (below):

I hope this will help you! Wink
